‘final hazards report’

The Main natural hazards in Canada are Volcanic Hazards and. Earthquakes. Volcanic hazards are dangerous because western Canada lies along the Pacific "Ring of Fire" active. The reason why this is the most dangerous is that 49 volcanoes are active in British Columbia. And Yukon Territory. In the last 10,000 years, these Volcanoes are still alive and could be active. Some volcanoes are dangerous because there are some of them in Washington or close to British Columbia, where large populations live.  In Canada, another dangerous natural hazard would be earthquakes. Approximately 450 earthquakes occur in eastern Canada. Some earthquakes can be as high as a magnitude of  4 or 5.  twenty-five events will be reported felt. Canada has prepared for earthquakes through building codes, education initiatives, and an early warning system. I would also like to add that Canadian seismologists and civil engineers have said that the countries. Earthquake preparednes...

country’s coastal problems

coastal erosion, Coastal erosion is exacerbated by climate change, permafrost thaw, rising sea levels, and extreme weather events, making it an increasingly urgent issue. Coastal problems for Canada Climate Change:  Rising sea levels, permafrost thaw, and increased storm intensity accelerate  coastal erosion . Canada to prevent coastal problems is listed  to draw attention to local communities' authorities and  Environmental organizations about the current state of coastal erosion . Coastal erosion happens in Canada, Newfoundland, Labrador, and Nova Scotia, British Columbia. The most severe wind erosion recorded in Canada occurred in the southern Prairies during the prolonged DROUGHT of the 1930s.  Vulnerable soils were disturbed by tillage and blown in immense clouds, creating the "Dust Bowl."  Erosion was sporadic and varied but surface lowering of 0.5 m in one storm was not uncommon. In Canada Landslide can happen every ten years. 786 Canadians have died from landslides in Canada The first week of May is preparedness week.  “Landslides most often happen in rocky, mountainous areas, but invisible underlying geologic conditions such as sensitive clay can collapse, causing landslides,” says Blais-Stevens. “This unstable soil is the most common cause of landslides in the St. Lawrence Valley, Ottawa to Quebec City, and as far as the Saguenay region.” Engineers have used a historical landslide map and database to judge risks before they build homes, roads, briges. Canada should have emergency kits on hand.  https://natural-resources.canada.ca/simply-science/canadian-fatal-landslides-mapped/2365 https://www.redcross.ca/how-we-help/emergencies-and-disasters-in-canada/types-of-emergencies/landslides/landslides-information-facts#:~:text=Landslides%20can%20range%20widely%20in,parts%20of%20Quebec%20and%20Ontario

And Yukon Territory. In the last 10,000 years, these Volcanoes are still alive and could be active. They also use natural resources. They also use Cnadian National, Seismograph network.

seismicity in Canada

Each year, approximately 450 earthquakes occur in eastern Canada . Of this number, perhaps four will exceed magnitude 4, thirty will exceed magnitude 3, and about twenty-five events will be reported felt. A decade will, on average, include three events greater than magnitude 5. Canada has prepared for earthquakes through building codes, education initiatives, and an early warning system. I would also like to add that Canadian seismologists and civil engineers have said that the countries. Earthquake preparedness is upgraded and currently. Working on ways to prevent earthquakes and catastrophes.
